I’ve said it before…but I really loved this photo series. Not only did it capture such a unique moment of time…quarantined at home, still not a lot of knowledge on the virus and how to protect ourselves from it, fear and anxiety about what we did not know. But there was joy to be found in these moments too. These photos are proof of it. There was no “plan” for these moments, just let me show up and capture you as you are. Showing love to one another. Being together. Maybe letting my kids entertain you from the sidewalk while I kept taking photos. My hope is that you see these photos and see what it’s like to just be you. This is how my family is greeted by the Bell family at their home regardless of a pandemic. Huge smiles and open arms. Thankful for the few minutes to show them just want that looks like to the rest of us.
