It’s been almost a year since quarantine began…I started this front porch photography project a few weeks into it all and the time spent visiting families outside at a distance was truly so life giving to me (so was the warm weather and sunshine we saw everyday…I’m not built for long, rainy, gray winters). It definitely helped to carry me through some of the early days of what is now a long and hard year later. My hope with this (and truly any photo I take) was to help us remember the good, to share some love and bring joy to those who see the final images. Blogging consistently has never been my strong suit (one of these days I’ll get smart and finally hire someone to help me with all of this), but blogging in quarantine has clearly been non-existent. I will not promise to transform myself into a consistent blogger, but I’m going to do my best to re-tell some of the story of this year here and share some of the love that I saw. I cannot help but feel joy when I see the Collie family, I hope you feel the same…
