What should I expect at our session?

My goal is for you to have fun being yourself. When you are having fun that’s when the best photos happen. This is true for a family session, a senior session, headshots, and business photos too. I want to capture you at your very best. Laughter is my not so secret trick (be warned that I am not funny). No need to dread our time together, you’ve hired me for a reason and we will have a great time together all while capturing you at your best!

What should I wear? 

Be yourself. If you wear bold, bright colors on a daily basis, then your shoot should be no different. If your kids never match, don’t go buy them matching clothes for this day. Coordinating is always advised (you don’t want to look like you just happened upon this photo shoot, we did plan it together after all). 

What happens if it rains? 

We will reschedule. I realize that this can feel like such a pain, but I promise you a bright sunny day is worth the wait. You hired me for my style and lighting is a big part of that. I will always work to accommodate a reschedule as quickly as possible. 

How does pricing work? 

Session fees are $350 and include up to 1 1/2 hours of shooting and a private online gallery. You can purchase a variety of products and packages after your session (including prints, canvases, coffee table albums, digital files, holiday cards and more). Where do you like to shoot? 

I shoot on location. This can be anywhere around Greensboro or surrounding areas. A favorite park (yours or mine), downtown, or your home. We will work together to come up with the best location based off of your desires for your session. (Newborn sessions are always done in your home.)

How long does a shoot last? 

Each session lasts up to 1 1/2 hours (up to 2 hours for a newborn). I always leave enough time during each session for 1 outfit change, a snack break (for kids and adults too), a move within our location and anything else that comes up to make sure our time together gets all the desired images. 

What happens after our session?

A sneak peek will go online within a few days of your session (just to get you excited). A private online gallery will be made available within 2 weeks after your session date. Then an in home ordering session is available to help you determine the best way to show off your images around your home.
