Life is made up of countless moments—big celebrations like weddings and anniversaries and graduations, small milestones such as a baby’s first steps or a child’s birthday, and all the everyday beauty in between, like family dinners filled with laughter or quiet afternoons spent together. Nothing makes me happier as a photographer, than getting to be a part of your life and to be able to document these moments, preserving them for you and your family to look back on for generations. Choosing a photographer who can grow with your family, capturing each chapter of your life together, ensures that your story is told with consistency, care, and a deep understanding of what makes your family uniquely you.

One of the most meaningful (and personally my favorite) aspects of my work is building lasting relationships with my clients and being asked to be a part of their lives again and again. The Repetto family is a perfect example of this incredible privilege. I first met Alexandra and Don almost 14 years ago in New York City, where I was able to capture their engagement session in the iconic Central Park (the bandshell to this day remains one of my favorite places to visit no matter the occasion) and on the rooftops of NYC.

The following year, I traveled to Washington, D.C. to document their joyous wedding with all of their beloved family and friends.

Fast forward nearly 13 years to this past fall when I had the true gift of photographing them again—this time as a family of FIVE—during a gorgeous fall session with their three beautiful children…IN CENTRAL PARK (full circle story here!!!!). So much has changed, but some things never change…like Alex’s laugh that is truly as contagious as it looks in each of her photos.

Each and every time I have been able to photograph them has been a reflection of their evolving story and I keep singing Ben Rector’s Over and Over in my head each and every time I look at their photos (if you don’t know his music, let this be a sign to start listening to him now…he just has a way of making life feel good at almost any moment).
